Who we are
As a limited liability company (GmbH), we offer our many years of experience in backend software development and operative business as a service under the name ABWD Consulting GmbH. Compared to classic freelancers, our customers benefit from the broad experience of our consultants, which enables us to respond flexibly to individual customer needs and offer a broad spectrum of expertise. We provide tailor-made software solutions and IT services of all kinds, in particular consulting in the IT sector.
What we offer
Thanks to the broad, many years of experience of our partners, we can support our customers in a broad spectrum in the area of backend development and operation.
As a service provider, we are also able to support smaller projects and work together with our customers on an effort-based model. Through the cooperation of several colleagues, some of whom work part-time, peak loads within ABWD Consulting can be distributed. This makes it possible to agree on a low minimum effort per week with our customers, e.g. 4 hours, and yet be able to react flexibly to sporadically strongly increased workloads. This is very difficult for freelancers who operate as sole proprietorships.
Performance Analysis / Tuning
Performance analysis and tuning in the database area includes the systematic investigation, evaluation and optimization of database queries, index structures and system configurations to improve the speed, efficiency and scalability of database operations.
Backend Programming
Backend programming in the database area includes the development and optimization of server-side applications that efficiently store, process and retrieve data to create robust and scalable systems for web applications and software solutions.
Data Modeling OLTP
Data modeling for OLTP focuses on the design of normalized, relational database structures that are optimized for fast transaction processing, data integrity, and efficient real-time operations to ensure high throughput rates and low latencies for transactional business applications.
Data Modeling OLAP
Data modeling for OLAP focuses on the creation of multidimensional data structures, such as OLAP cubes, that aggregate large amounts of data from various sources in hierarchically organized dimensions to enable fast and complex analytical queries for business intelligence and decision support.
Reverse Engineering
Reverse engineering in the database area is a process in which the structure and relationships of an existing database are analyzed and converted into a visual database model or ER diagram in order to understand, document and, if necessary, optimize the database architecture.
Data Migrations
Data migration in the database area is the systematic process of transferring, transforming and validating data from a source database to a target database to enable system modernizations, platform changes or data consolidations, ensuring data integrity, consistency and minimal downtime.
DevOps
DevOps in the database area is a holistic approach that integrates the development and operation of database systems in order to optimize the efficiency, quality and speed of database changes and deployments through automation, version control, continuous integration and deployment, as well as improved collaboration between developers and DBAs.
Operation / Operation Organization (ITSM)
Database operation includes the continuous management, monitoring, optimization and maintenance of database systems to ensure their availability, performance, security and integrity, as well as the execution of backups, updates and troubleshooting to support business requirements.
